Founder and Content Head, stepUP Content

For over a decade and a half, I've worked where stories matter most—first as a journalist, then as a travel blogger, professional content writer, and now as a content strategist helping small businesses find their voice online.

My career has taken me through newsrooms, trade publications, national newspapers, and international news platforms, where I learned to ask better questions, uncover what matters, and communicate complex ideas with clarity. Those same skills now shape the way I approach content-led marketing. Good content isn't about filling pages or chasing algorithms. It's about understanding people, earning trust, and telling the right story at the right time.

Today, I work with small businesses, solopreneurs, creative founders, and growing brands to build a digital presence that's clear, credible, and built to last. From SEO research and content strategy to website copy, blogs, and social media, I help businesses create content with purpose—content that reflects who they are, and content that helps the right people find them.

stepUp Content was built on a simple belief: every small business deserves the opportunity to look as professional online as the larger brands they compete with. Your website is often the first impression you make. It should tell your story well, answer your customers' questions, and be easy to discover. Think of content as the material you use to build your digital reputation. My job is to help you lay them, one thoughtful piece at a time.

Based in California, I bring together a background in journalism, training in SEO and social media management, and years of experience writing for the web. The result is a practical, content-led approach that blends strategy with storytelling—helping businesses not only attract visitors but build lasting relationships with their audience.

At the end of the day, I'm here to help and guide other small businesses build a credible image on the internet. I know the challenges of wearing multiple hats, juggling priorities, and trying to make every marketing decision count. That's why my goal isn't simply to create content—it's to give you the confidence, direction, and tools to grow your business one well-written page, post, or campaign at a time.
